Any recommendations on tire dealers in Greenville/Greer area? Price and quality of service are criteria. I live near Pelham @ I-85

I've always used locally owned dealerships in the past. Or is Costco my best bet?

I highly recommend Graydon Tire & Automotive on S.C. 14 (next to the A&P diner) for top quality care and friendly customer service. My first experience at the garage resulted from an uncontrollable emergency situation that needed immediate reparation. They not only took my vehicle in without making me wait, but additionally they generously did not charge for their labor. I was in and out in a short amount of time. Obviously I have gone back since then as a result of that first experience.

Another company I recommend is Powdersville Tire & Wheel on S.C. 153.

I've purchased my last three sets of tires at Tri-State tire across from Texas Roadhouse on Wade Hampton. I also like Graydon, but stopped going there because they didn't take American Express (my company's choice of CC)

I know it is a chain but I've used Discount Tire for years. There's one on Haywood Rd. and one on Woodruff Rd. They've given me great service and good prices. I always pay a little extra to get the lifetime warranty on my tires. With that, Discount Tire will fix or replace your tire if it damaged for any reason. I've used that several times for nails and such. It also includes tire rotation. They have locations all over the country so that works well if you travel and have a tire situation.
