Good. Maybe they won't ship these jobs overseas like they (Kemet) have in the past. Right now, as third in the nation in unemployment, we'll take any jobs we can get to help put folks to work. Thank God...finally some good news for the folks of SC......

This is good news. I have not been checking for jobs there even though they are practically in my backyard. Over the years that I've lived here they've hired, laid off, hired and laid off. Unfortunately it is a cycle that probably will never be broken. I'd just like a job that I like and one that will last me several years down the road.

That is good news. Even though they may lay off from time to time it's good that they are still surviving which is better than some companies did!

I just checked with a friend of mine at Kemet. He said that one stipulation of the grant was for the jobs to be in state. They are hoping that is what happens.
