HELP! We have a stray puppy that we were going to keep but as it turns out our son is allergic to him. I haven't been able to give him away but we just are not going to be able to keep him. I am really hoping someone knows of a place where we can take him that won't just put him to sleep.

yes, there are places around Greenville that are no-kill but I am not sure of where they are. I think one is in Simpsonville or Fountain Inn.

Go on the site Petfinder.com and put in your local info and you will find shelters and rescues there.

Concerned Citizens for Animals. EXCELLENT organization! No kill policy. We adopted our black lab from them. Great group of people. Here is their website:

Concerned Citizens For Animals, 4 Pet's Sake, Hugs for Hounds in Mauldin, Pet Tender Angels, and Diamond in the Ruff are some rescue organizations that I can think of off the top of my head.
Good Luck!

He definitely looks like he has some chow and likely some shepherd too.
