[SIZE=2][SIZE=2]Hello All,

I will be moving to Greenville by mid of November 09. I am looking for 2 bed/bathrooms apartment, to move in with my family.

Can you please help me to find an apartment with the below considerations:

1. Pre-schools closeby to the property, I have a 3 year old. (Preferrably walking distance)
2. Hospitals closeby to the apartment, as we are expecting a new member soon
3. Most importantly safety features in and around the community.

Thank you very much for your time and information.
Ram

Firstly, thank you very much for your wishes. We are moving from Ohio, I have been to Greenville once but for only couple of hours, I really love that place and we (Me, my wife & our son) are very excited. I was struggling to find a right apartment and stumbled upon this forum. It is worthwhile to mention that this forum serves to the people like me to get settled pretty easily in new places.

First, let me suggest that you obtain daycare first and then try to find somthing close by. This is especially true if you are considering the Simpsonville area.

The Pelham Road area (eastside Greenville) has a wide choice of nice apartment complexes. It's convenient to hospitals, shopping, all kinds of services, and I'd imagine daycare as well.

Woodruff Rd (past I-385) has new apartment complexes and just about everything else you could need within a short drive. BUT, it's about the most congested road in the area. You might also consider something near Fairview Rd in Simpsonville. Again, there's at least 1 of just about everything there as well.

We're in Crestmont at Thornblade which is a gated apt complex off of Pelham Road. We are here temporarily. So far, we really like it. I also have a 3 year old and she just met 3 friends this afternoon by the playground so that was really nice.
Pelham is one of the major road areas so there are lots of preschools. The library (Symmes branch) has a lovely story time weekly as well so your child could meet plenty of friends.
My daughter is special needs so she is in a preschool suited to that however if I see the mom I spoke to today I can ask her which school her 3 y/o daughter attends. She mentioned it but I can't remember the name.

Good luck! (I'm from Cleveland)
