They have been working pretty furious in Magnolia Park the last few weeks. Next to the new Rooms to go. Anone know what that is?
Cheddar's Casual Cafe, La Parilla Mexican restaurant, Superplay USA, and small retail shops with tenants yet to be announced due to lease negotiations still on-going.
If anyone hear anything about BPS or any big shopping plaza is going to be built anywhere in SC, please let me know. I'm looking forward to have a big salon business in that location.
Mr. G-man, please let me know if you hear anything! Thanks in advance!

If you look at the post above yours, g-man has mentioned that there will be some retail space built at Magnolia Place. Construction has already begun.
Define "big." By SC standards in this weaker economy, the Easley Town Center development seems fairly significant. The proposed Washington Square development on Greenville's Main Street sounds very promising as well, with Mayor Knox White comparing its retail component to Haywood Mall.
The development in Greer where BPS was slated to go is dead. There were rumors of them going to Magnolia Park but I haven't heard anything about that in a while.
I would not doubt Bass Pro Shops has interest in the Greenville/Spartanburg area still. With Magnolia Park and the abandoned development plan at Interstate 85 and South Carolina 14, one wonders what other sites are left.
Is REI still in the works for Magnolia Park?
