Folks, please - suddenly we are having a rash of religious links and copyrighted text posted in this forum, primarily by new users.
It is NOT okay to come here and proselytize or plagiarize/violate copyright/question others' religious beliefs with regard to coping with grief. That will win you a time out or ban. This forum is for support. You may state that you find your comfort in religion or some other spiritual activity and why, but this isn't the place to be a missionary.
For the regular posters - please report anything that appears to be a violation of the Terms of Service...don't argue or debate, just report.
As a refresher, here's the rules on that:
Do not post copyrighted material. Anything close to spam will be deleted and we might inform your ISP. We log your IP address.
Real Estate Agents and other businesses will not advertise their services nor solicit business in their posts. Create a free business profile by going to https://www.city-data.com/profiles/add and fill out your forum profile instead. Do not include links to your websites, MLS listings, etc. in your posts. Do not try to push the envelope by attempting to hide your intentions. Do not solicit business by DMs. Mod Note: This DOES INCLUDE religious organizations.
Threads dealing with controversial topics that often degenerate into flame wars, such as politics or religion, may be moved, closed, or deleted by moderators at their discretion without any warning to the participants.
Copyrighted Material - Instead of copying-and-pasting articles, photos, or other material you find on the Internet, you should be posting links to those articles. Posting a snippet from the article and then the link is the appropriate way to post.
Thank you for your participation - again, please just report any threads that seem to be in violation of any part of the Terms of Service and it will get handled. Thanks, Sam
