Hi Dude! Always a pleasure to see your posts here!
Another rainy foggy day here.....seems like more then usual this year.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
It's always nice to see how friendly everyone is up here. We all need friends!
Today is my appointment with my psychiatrist. The only thing she really does is decide the medications I should be taking. I am certainly not happy with the anxiety meds I am on and hope to change them. Be even better to taper off of them altogether but not sure I am ready for that yet. I just know I want my life back. Time....yes time....
Rained hard all night and is still very stormy looking with more rain to come. I think a little more sunshine would be nice!
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
I am going to really work at getting out of this rut I am in lately. My Doctor agreed with me that there is no drug that will do it for me it is up to me. She said she felt badly because I was like a small child thrown into the real world to make it on my own--she is right. It will take time and a lot of faith and effort but I will get this right! Growing up all at once.....
But I am lucky--God is good!
I love what the Bible has to say about anxiety. Here's a good verse. As our Creator God knows how we are made and what is good, therefore also what is bad for us and our bodies and our brains.
Philippians 4:6,7 says "Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus."
Beautiful! God doesn't want us to be weighed down with overeating, overdrinking and anxieties of life. We need ta throw our anxieties to Him and leave them there - don't try and take them back upon yourself after giving them to him. They'll be too heavy, weigh us down, and cause anxiety and then physical health problems with us if we don't trust in Him to really help us.
Your are right but it is a hard thing to do. I am working on that! Thank you for the reminder--it never hurts to hear it.
Really wicked weather with lots of thunder and lightening with hard rain last night made for a restless night! Today it is suppose to have very high winds too. I think by the time I have to go to work the worst will be past--I hope! Have a good day everyone!
Everyone be safe and have a good day. It's 44 and sunny here in SW Kansas!
