The gulf coast of Florida wasnt effected at all by the hurricane. Lots of refugees came over from the east coast.....and the county opened some shelters to accomodate those who had no place to go.
My son up in SC decided to hunker down and stay home......they also fared very well altho there were herons and other water birds in their back yard this morning. They avoided the gridlock on the highways coming back down toward Chareleston.
It is really nice to hear from you....I think of you often.

Today I get my stitches removed! It's a bit of a drive but hopefully will be worth it.
Getting much cooler here now..nights are down right cold!
