I was out on my front porch and just got to see 5-6 deer running through the fields and then jumping the fence into the woods next to my home. Yep, that is one of the reasons I live here!

It sounds lovely cyn. Glad to see you "counting your blessings". It might sound corny...but it helps to notice the positives.

The news of the fires in California is terrible. I feel so badly for those who are effected.....including the critters. These fires are not way out in the wilds....these are populated areas. Very sad.

I have been complaining of allergies for about a week.....very swollen and stuffed nose to the point of not being able to stay asleep. Today it blossomed into a cold or flu.....I woke up from a nap and felt achy and weak and unsteady and my throat has that hot patch at the back. Well now I know what I have and that it will pass.

My partner reminded me that I get a cold every fall....and I think he is right.

Good morning everyone - my wife has some bad sinus issue - she's complaining of weird "pressure points of pain" around her neck. Including the back of her neck. Sounds like a sinus infection, though it might be a cold or viral infection. Our medical insurance is activated now so she may go to the doctor tomorrow.

Hope you're all doing as well as can be expected. Fall is a big time to get sick as all the kids get pooled together in school and pass viruses on to each other, then take them home. Then the adults get it and bring it to their work. And on and on it goes. I head back to work tonight for three nights in a row of night shift.

Good day to all!
