Next week is the MRI and the following week I talk to the doctor. Two days ago my arm was really bad (the day after I got the shot) but I also vacuumed the den and the living room and probably over did it. Yesterday and today is is great! Probably the shot is helping but meantime I will do my therapy here at home and pray for good things! It really felt good to hear someone else who had something similar and was able to continue on with life--gave me hope!

Praying with you cyn.

Hope” is the thing with feathers -
BY EMILY DICKINSON

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -

I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

Getting ready for Quaker Meeting followed by a talk on Earth Care from a rep. of Friends of the Earth.

Have a good day everyone. We had rain yesterday afternoon and all night....this morning is sparkling fresh and beautiful.

Rain and more rain here.

Some days I just shouldn't talk to people. No, I'm not angry or loud, but I'm sad. I don't want to rain on a parade or ruin anyone's day.

Gerania, we all have those days. Sometimes it helps to share because someone else may say something to make you feel so much better just like you did for me! You just don't have any idea how much your post about your shoulder helped me!!

Four years ago I was randomly browsing around the CD threads, and happened to notice cyn's original post about her husband's illness. I have read her posts faithfully, and followed her journey through bad times and good. I have always been in awe of her determination and strength, as well as her ability to overcome so many hardships
Along the way, I have come to "know" many of the other regular posters. I have never contributed here, but I check this thread daily. If it is truly time for everyone to "move on", I understand. But I just wanted Cyn to know that I do care, and do enjoy reading your daily updates and celebrating your progress and your continued journey.
If it is a source of comfort for you to post here and share your life, please continue to do so and know that I am reading. I will even try to contribute. I just feel like you've had so many losses, I didn't want this thread to be another one.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
