I can really relate. Both my husband’s sister, and my sister, died last year at 67 and 74. My lifeline to the family news has been cut off and there are no other female relatives in my generation. I am bereft by the loss of a connection. They were in different areas of the country, so the lack of family news makes me feel adrift.
Of our old circle of friends, only a few have died, but it was still before their time, and it’s a wake up call. We only have today, so we should make the most of the time we have.
Three people in one year is a lot. Not just that, but as you said, it was losing those particular people that have made such a difference.

Both Gerania and gentlearts have had to struggle with such major losses. I am so sorry! I guess we just have to keep moving forward and that is easier said then done. My prayers go out to both of you!
Seems odd--no work tonight. But I am happy not to have to drive home in the dark just concerned about the smaller pay checks!

cyn - have you tried probiotics for your stomach? They helped me in early 2013 when I first moved down here to southern New Mexico. My stomach was aching and nauseated - the probiotics helped me get my stomach straightened out. Are you already using them?

I got called into work last night because the new manager is sick. I didn't mind since I do need the hours and I like the girl I worked with. She and I work well together!
When I got up this morning I peeked out the bathroom blinds and saw a doe with her 2 fawn eating on my lawn. What a lovely start to my day! Must be a good sign!
