((((Cyn))))). I'd be nervous too. If you can, maybe you can visualize the stuff in the shot strengthening and shoring up your own immune system to fight that big bad foreign invader ( the cancer) tooth and nail!

I know the shot makes you feel lousy afterwards, but there's a battle of epic proportions going on, right there in your own body, with your shot-shored up immune system components vs. that invader.

Good thoughts, positive energy and prayers going out for you.

Why exactly? Do you need something or someone?

Good soggy morning! I was going to ask you, elston, at 7:30a.m., how you were liking all that t+l and rain. We got a little over 6". So much for the first round. We are in a lull now with tornado watches all around us. Stay safe, my friend.

cyn, how did yesterday's shot go? How are you feeling today? Bless you.

I slept thru it.....could see that it had rained when I got up around 4 AM; DH was able to go over to the court around 8:30. I checked my garden.....wind blown but doing well. Hoping for the best. On my way home from the garden (in my community) I saw a large turtle trying to get across the divided road way where there is a pond on both sides. There were several cars behind me.....so I stopped , put on my hazard lights and got out and moved him across the street to where he could access the pond he was headed toward. He was a very large painted turtle...with lots of moss grwing on his back. My good deed for the day. Anothr motorist called out "good for you".

That's so nice, elston. I would have expected the other car to swear at me! Sounds like nice people in your community. Good for you. Our racoon is stranded on the other side of the canal now. She will have to wait until the water goes back down.

I love that you saved the turtle, elston!

I do the same whenever I can.

Often you can't stop because of traffic and unfortunately there are drivers who aim for them but I could save this one and help him across safely.
