My best friend's husband died of brain cancer 7 years ago. It took 6 years for her to really begin to grieve. I think because he had been so ill for so long that she initially just felt relieved. She travelled, did some home improvements, and finally ran out of projects. Now she is ready to find someone new but doesn't know where to begin.
