Growing up my mother had this suitcase...it looked like one anyways. But when you opened it there were two pieces....one you turn and stick in the hole-

it was a hairdryer....like the kinds used in salons. No, didn't come with a recliner but it was a hairdryer none the less.

The ones you hold in your hands each day are blowdryers.

What was my mother's called? Where can you buy them?

I had a "bonnet" dryer when I was a teen but not sure they make those anymore

I remember that! My sister had one that I inherited when she moved out! It was similar to the Amazon one. I used to use it on the kitchen table.

My mom had a hand blowdryer from the 50's....heavy as anything.
