Usually, I go to a beauty supply but what are the good ones out there?

Hair is past shoulder length, straight

My former dryer, a Solano, just died after 4 years.

The Parlux hair dryers are the best I have found. I have been through so many hair dryers, I have given most of them away after being disappointed with performance and results, but when I tried the Parlux range, I was instantly sold. Easy to use, useful settings, great build quality that lasts for years. The only reason I bought a new one was because I moved country and hence needed one for a different voltage!

I've been using my "cheap" drugstore dryer for about 12 years...still works great! I don't think you need to spend a ton of money on a hairdryer! It's a Conair Supermax.....ancient, but does the job!

I recommend what I have, a Karmin Salon Series Ultralight Ionic Hair Dryer. Why? I read about it all for myself reading about it on their website. I love it, dries my hair very fast and it comes with a diffuser if you need it. Also has 3 years manufacturer's guarantee!
