Do you prefer that they keep it simple with no gel, or do something like spike it (or mess it up a bit) and add gel? I currently go to the barber shop and get a simple trim every month but thinking of maybe doing something different.

I am not a fan of the wet stiff look...I like a little product but not really 'gel'.

I've tried the comb-over look and had pretty good success. You should try that! I'm beatin' them off with a coon tail! Seriously. Go for it!!

Do you like alot of gel in a woman's hair? That should give you an idea (No is the correct answer).
You know who had a great hairdo? That creep (but well coiffed) Madoff.

I like my men clean cut but not really "styled" - I dont wear gel and I would hate for my man to. I hate it when men get too fussy with themselves. Clean and neat is good but a man should be a man.

What about when he goes out? I don't normally wear gel during the week but when I go out, I tend to use it.

Default Each guy is different

Some guys don't look good with long hair--they can look downright goofy. I do prefer a shorter, GQ look. Keep the neck shaved--the lower area. Lettitng that area go is a big turnoff. Use a little bit of product--doesn't have to be gel. Ask a gal in a salon for advice, or go to a drug store--they have great hair care isles. Try something. Like with women, the cut depends on the face. I like a shorter cut, personally, on a man

Default How about us baldies?

I'm an older (50) guy and I've got wavy hair. In fact it's waved bye-bye. How do the majority of you women out there feel about mature, bald(ing) men? I've got that Sean Connery/Ed Harris thing going on. Ive debated the head-shave thing, but just can't bring myself to do it. Comments?

Depends on your type of hair, but sort of a modified Beatles cut...layered a bit, some length, but not long hair.

Never cared for the spiked look. The look that especially annoyed me was the front combed and gelled straight up. I hated that look. Combined with a goatee, it looked like a Satan head.
