I would say the unlisted New Town in Williamsburg, and Peninsula as the best one around here.

For nightlife go to VB Towncenter. The bars there are always packed during the weekends

For Shopping go to The Peninsula Towncenter. It's pretty much an outdoor mall

The Newport News towncenter is just nice to take pictures and walk around because there is a huge fountain in the middle

For overall experience, look, and feel, I give it to Peninsula Town Center.

VB Town Center is good for its convenience when dining or drinking. If you would like to go out to eat, to a bar, or comedy club, then town center is your place. Thats pretty much all there is to do and see. If there were better shopping available at VB Town Center then I would say it was the best. But the nonexistent shopping is what keeps it from being tops.
