Hello everybody.

We are planning to move south (of Montclair VA). Williamsburg is on our list although homes are pricey. Please tell me which are the flood zones in Williamsburg, if any. Also, what might be the lowest priced single home I can hope for 3 bd/2 ba (around 1,700 sq ft) + min. 9,000 sq ft lot? I have been searching online and i am getting nowhere. Do you know any reliable website advertising homes for sale in Williamsburg? Thank you all for your help.

Most of the homes in flood zones in Williamsburg are in the Jamestown area near the James river. There are other flood zones west of town in Lanexa. If you want to see them on a map you can download a James City County flood zone map here. If you have a specific address and want to check it for flooding you can do that on the Floodsmart.gov website
There are a few homes with your criteria slightly under $200k but most will be $200K and up, depending on age of home, neighborhood quality , etc.
Realtor.com has all the listings on it...
