We are moving to the area, and we currently have Verizon for our wireless plan. How is the service there, and how do the other major carriers compare? I know Verizon's web site says they cover that area, but I have been to other "covered" areas that had awful reception through their phones.

I agree. We are fully equipped with Verizon at home and work. The in network calling is great. My bro and I keep in touch, the kids all have verizon and with my co-workers, international calling is very good.

We have verizon wireless... We just moved here in Feb... The coverage is great....We have had Verizon for 3 years and no complaints.. used it from Cali to Canada...Maine to Texas...and in between!!

I love that they just added the 10 numbers you can call with no minutes being used..We only have cells and this is a GREAT addition !!

Evil, horrible company with the best coverage you could imagine. Amazing coverage. Shouldn't see issues here with them.

Have had Verizon Wireless here in Norfolk, no issues at all. Lots of stores too in case you break your phone or otherwise and need help or a replacement.

I haven't chosen a provider yet for my internet and cable. Why Cox over Verizon?
