Hello my fellow Hampton Roads People! Me and my wife lived up there until Jan. of this year and moved down here (temporary insanity) and we really want to move back asap!!! But before we pack up camp again I would just like getting the word out that a plumber who has been in the field for 14 years is in need of work. If you know of any companies please pm me for the name of the companies or for my name and number PLEASE!!!

You are trying to move and find a job when the unemployment rate is in double figures and rising by the day......good luck but not much as far as jobs in this area right now

I have relatives near the area where you are, visited down there for a few days, and yeah, besides going to church, eating and going to Walmart, people don't do much there besides that.

Thumbs up In the same boat, Help

OMG, I hear you, My husband and I moved to Texas from NY about 28 years ago and he too is a plumber he now has his masters here and he is afraid of moving, I can not take it much longer I want out, I miss long Island and the big apple. He has been a plumber just about all his life and he was also a plumbing supply house manager for many of years so if you find something let us know, the south is not for me.

Well we wish you guys the best of Luck, actually we did start our own business 3 years ago. It is just my husband and I do the book work, when he gets big jobs we just hire some people to help out. Work here has actually been good, I just do not like Texas, I am a New Yorker and I like my 4 seasons. Well Hope all goes well in Florida. We have a lot of family there but I never thought about there as the weather is about the same. Good luck.
