Hi,

We are moving to the area from out of state and were wondering what the Cedar Cliff Manor subdivision is like whereas we're considering renting a house there. I see from the maps that it is just west of Cedar Cliff High School so I wonder if that is good/bad/indifferent. We have a 2 year old daughter so the school district's high school doesn't matter in that regard yet. I wonder if anyone has any comparisons to Camp Hill neighborhoods and neighborhoods in the CVSD. Any comments on stuff like relative safety level, proximity of shopping, general traffic congestion, etc.?

Thank you very much to all the kind folks who post a lot of great information on here. We both are from central-ish PA, have family there and have been away for a long time so we are looking forward to returning.

Rothrock

Default Cedar Cliff Manor

To answer your question is Cedar Cliff Manor nice? Do you mean the neighbors? Better grow a set of large balls if you're thinking of living here

I'm just wondering that the above poster means by "grow a set of large balls". I live in Cedar Cliff Manor and while there are some cranky people (where are there not?), all my neighbors are nice. Have you had issues? The only issues we've had is when people think we're not picking up after our dogs. We always do--it's kinda funny when someone yells at you for not picking up dog poop when the dog is either a) still actually pooping or b) actually didn't poop, it peed. If people don't like animals or people, they shouldn't live in a subdivision with sidewalks and lots of homes.

It's safe, not too much traffic, shopping--well, Weis is right up the road and it's not too far to the Staples/Boscovs/Giant shopping center or the pike.

Default Issues

Give me nice neighbors that dont yell ******* when I work around my house. I love to work outside I am PROUD to live here I love my home I busted my butt to make it something. Give me a neighbor that doesnot bring there dog out to crap in my lawn while im working in it and not clean it up. Or get there grand child to take dog in my yard and grandparents run into house and yell through window hoping dog craps in my yard. Or have a vehicle drive through your yard.It goes on and on. Dont be to particular here youll be a target. Spoke with attorney and documented everything.
