Reminds me of that old saying..."if it's too good to be true".

Just shows that it's easier to find a place when you are here and can actually see/visit the location. BTW, there are lots of places in Waikiki that just have signs out, never see them on craigslist. Also, in the lobby of our building and the one I used to park in, they have 3x5 cards with places for rent when they are available. If you are here looking for a place in waikiki, these are two things you can do in addition to craigslist.

Thanks, agreed. Too, most contacts for places are just in Witness protection and likely scams. A simple response is almost impossible for many. I would go FIRST and do any transactions, as scams are very prevalent. Mention having an attorney review a lease THERE, and , they run for the hills (or beaches) LOL. ON SITE "touchy-feely" is the ONLY secure method.
