Freedom Bird = Military Flight

Evergreen had the contract and it flew a non-stop route roughly from CA to Alaska to Japan, to Guam, to HI to CA. Around and around. I think they had 3 acft dedicated to that route and I think, at the time only one was up/airworthy. Sorta had flashbacks for a minute there!

Passengers on an Allegiant Airlines flight say they were stuck on the hot plane for hours with no air conditioning or water. One woman passed out and two others suffered medical problems after they were stuck on two different planes on a Las Vegas tarmac.

On a cell phone video, you can see a woman passed out in the aisle on the flight from Las Vegas to Phoenix. The passenger who took the video says they waited an hour and a half with no air conditioning and no water on the first aircraft. Then they were all placed onto another plane for two more hours with no air conditioning or water.

PHOENIX >> More than 150 passengers were forced to sweat it out on an Allegiant Airlines plane for 2 1/2 hours after a maintenance issue left the aircraft without air conditioning.

KTVK-TV reports passengers had already boarded the plane at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport on Wednesday when the issue was discovered. The station says passengers were required to stay in their seats in triple-digit temperatures even though the plane was still at the gate.
