Recommend an area to live (apartments, for rent, employment)

I have a job offer very close by to Waikiki. Can you recommend to me a good neighborhood to live in?

I'm a late 20s Asian American who will be working a typical 9-5.

• Salary will be in the $40-50K range
• I enjoy/don't mind living with roommates
• Very active and sporty -> Involved in lots of pickup basketball/football/rugby/hockey clubs and enjoy watersports as well
• Single: Just got out of a long relationship and not looking to go back into one but looking to have fun now
• Have a motorcycle. no car.
• I can speak Korean, Japanese, English, and some Mandarin
• Active nightlife -> bars/clubs/noisy places/drunk single women lol

so in a nutshell, lots of outdoor activities/sports + active nightlife. not looking for a quiet place. would actually prefer roommates versus living alone.

I would start with the area around your place of employment and work out from there until you find something that fits for you. Seems to be a few nice places on Craigslist and Padmapper....

Seems as if you are hard wired for Waikiki. Have fun.
