Incest legal definition of incest

...Rape and incest are separate offenses and are distinguished by the fact that mutual consent is required for incest but not for rape. When the female is below the age of consent recognized by law, however, the same act can be both rape and incest.

I was lucky. I was summoned to traffic court in Kaneohe, and was told to call in Sunday night if I was needed. I did call in like I was instructed to do, and was told not to report. I guess plaintive and the court resolved the issues before hand.
Just saying.

More likely, they had a pool of 100 people. Needed 20 - they pick the 20 randomly out of the 100 and you weren't picked.

While making up the 100 and 20, that is generally how it works.

Do they have jury trials in traffic court in Hawaii? Never heard of that before.

I believe - infractions that won't send you to prison don't entitle you to a jury - like an expired safety check.

But I also believe - anything that can involve prison (considered a crime) - not just in Hawaii, entitles you to a jury trial - like DUI, reckless driving, etc....

Anyone who knows anything about the Jury process knows it is a nightmare of foolish morons. It is only those who know nothing about it that think it is a good thing. This is why people settle civil cases or do plea deals.

If they are truly guilty they go to trail because they can take a shot.
