Sea rise and Hawaii

I don't think anyone really denies that the earth is getting warmer. Even Trump has said he believes it is. What people seem to argue about is who much of it is caused by humans and to what extent can we change our activities to slow the increase. You can just look at the ice cap melts to see something is happening. I don't believe in carbon taxes or offsets. But I do believe the first and easiest step we can take is move all cars off of petroleum based fuels. The technology is there. Hydrogen or electric. I believe if all countries of the world made that simply switch, the world would be a much better place to live. China and India are two huge polluters of the world air and just switching off petroleum cars and motorcycles would make a huge difference and it can be done today.

Regarding Hawaii and sea level rise, I do own an ocean front condo unit in Waikiki and have been concerned about this. I've wondered if I should sell it now and re-locate to higher ground before the impacts are obvious and values drop. But in the end, I think I've decided to just go down with the ship. I'd rather be on the ocean as long as I can rather than leave and then be disappointed 20 years from now when I see that still nothing has changed.
