Forgive me if such a question has already been asked, but I wanted to ask about what kinds of teachers are in demand in Hawai'i.

I currently live in California and have a Master's degree in Education, along with a Multiple Subject Credential and a Single Subject Credential in English. I've been teaching for almost five years, and would like to move to Hawai'i within the next few years. I have a very close friend in Honululu who has agreed to let me rent a room in his house, so all the other issues regarding relocation can be resolved. But before I take such a step, I'd like to get a sense of whether a teacher with my background and qualifications would have any difficulty finding a full-time teaching position anywhere in Hawai'i?

And assistance would be most appreciated.

Default types of teachers

Ones that actually show up for work, are drug free (yes pot is a drug), don't raise students grades an entire letter grade simply for taking out the trash, don't sell bottle waters for a side job during class, etc, etc, etc

-All of the above and much more actually did happen and are documented with the public schools on Maui as occuring this year.

-You could come be a teacher here from the main land if you were a volunteer at a YMCA. They would welcome you. You will have no problem finding work as a teacher.
