Default Bestimmt, freund!

Mir auch, Bayerischer. (Me too, Bavarian). Also, Salzburg would be nice. When I was stationed in Germany, ('81-'84 & '86-89), we lived in Langendiebach bei Erlensee (Hanau gebiet) und Dexheim bei Nierstein (Rhein River, north of Worms). We were treated so well, and befriended by the locals, even though I was a U.S. "Ami" Soldier.
That being said, my heart yearns for the balmy sunshine of Kaua'i or perhaps Oahu, what with Pele spouting off the sulphur dioxide.
I still feel that most there truly appreciate the way of Aloha.
Mahalo (und Danke schoen!)

My dream location is Hawaii, that's why I can't stay away from this forum! but that is somewhat based in practicality, because I'm a US citizen.
I can't believe someone from Palau posted! hI! so cool! I've only heard of Palau, a friend of a friend somehow moved there as a divemaster, and it sounded heavenly to me.
But still, for me, it's Hawaii - and I don't know which island yet, probably the first one wants to hire me for now I'm on my island in texas which is as close as i can afford!

Palau is nice. It's not developed like Hawaii, and it's just a little warmer. But it's a relaxing way to spend a few years.

Below is some pics of my family, taken around christmas if I remember correctly.

I've actually lived in New Zealand, Wellington while studying abroad and I loved it. I want to actually move back for a little. Amazing country, people, culture. so much of the country is untouched or uninhabited or you might have to share the views with sheep but who cares haha. the only thing that i wasn't big on was some of da food, not as good as hawaii for sure. but not all of it is bad.
if not beautiful Aotearoa then maybe Italy, I've traveled in northern and southern Italy and i fell in love with Firenze aka Florence as well as the Amalfi coast. plus i know some italian so that would help. oh and i love the food and culture. again friendly people too
