A car is a car, a boat is a boat, a container is a container. Can Horizon ship without using a container? If so, what is that price? Call Pasha and get a quote from them. You may need to bring it to them but if you save several thousands $$ .....

You have to know how the game is played. A boat can be deck cargo, roll-on cargo or packed in a container. If your putting it in a containr, expect container pricing. If it's roll-on like a car or trailer, it's that pricing.

I will try Pasha tomarrow - quick question does Pasha ship out of Seattle/Tacoma to Hilo confusing understanding how it can be shipped. I was looking at a 19ft boat on a trailer. Yellow Frieght was really curt and not that helpfull. I was also looking at if I just shipped it in a crate no trailer, would that wording be deck cargo then? what is the explanation of roll - on cargo - moves itself?

Matson was $3900 in container. Going online and asking doesn't seem to get an answer or someday I suppose I will... Matson and Horizon were helpful but gosh the price. This is the deal in WA you can pick up a small fixer boat now for cheap cheap cheap.... less than $2,000. No I don't know boats but my friend from Hawaii is here now and looking into purchasing one to take over. But to have shipping be double price of the boat or more... and yes have a place to keep in on BI.

Thanks for all the help! Another confusing game to learn.
