I was recently in the hospital. I have private insurance via my employer but wondering what if anything will be covered by part A?

Is your employer a retiree plan which functions as a supplement to Medicare? Biggest expense is Part A deductible of $1,364. After deductible is satisfied, Medicare pays 100% of hospital for the first 60 days. Most supplements pay all or part of that deductible. Check the terms of your employer plan.
