Hi: just wondering if I should see my doctor or wait for the pain to go away on its own.
In the last 2 days (weekend) I've had some pain on my left arm. It hurts to carry heavier things or to apply force (think opening a jar). The background story on this arm (left) is that back in 2008 I broke the ulna and had no surgery, just a splint put in place for 4 weeks and then physical therapy. Then in 2010 I was monkeying around at the gym and fell on my back, but I put my left arm on the floor and it started to swell. I went straight to the ER thinking I had broken the same wrist. but they just told me it was sprained. Even typing this messages as I move my fingers on the keyboard it hurts a bit. Could there me something else here that I need to have checked or just get a hot pack and sleep it off?

Sounds like you have a sprained ankle on your left arm.
