You could just be dehydrated. Drink a few glasses of water as soon as you read this and re-eval in a couple of hours. Dehydration can make you tired, empty feeling, lightheaded, and crampy. I think I got dehydrated one night and at first I thought I was having a heart attack. It was the middle of the night and I got my husband up b/c I thought he'd have to take me to the hospital. My stomach was cramping so bad it felt like I had a charley horse in my abdomen but I sucked down like 5 glasses of water in a row and then slowly began to feel better and went back to bed. That's how bad it can get and I learned my lesson after that. I don't know how your armpits would tie into that but I suppose that dehydration could back up your lymph nodes.

How old are you and are you overweight and if yes, how much? I ask because these could also be the symptoms of diabetes and that's nothing to mess around with.

ARe your armpits getting lumpy? I had that after I had my second baby and my doc told me that it's just cysts and that it mostly happens to overweight people but though I didn't take the weight off right away, the lumps went away on their own. Yow they sure did hurt though and with the first one I thought I had cancer. You know, I could have been dehydrated then too b/c I was nursing my daughter.

Any solutions?

I went out and bought the following:

blueberries
shiitake mushrooms
carrots
cucumber
The bathroom thing could be because you are not eating enough? Or regularly?
Some of the other things could be thyroid? B-12 deficiency?
Could be cancer?
Please go to the Dr.

What's keeping you from going to the doctor?

There could be hundreds of things wrong from your description. OK, except for the armpits getting bigger - that's odd, unless your chest and arms are actually getting smaller and your armpits are bigger by comparison. Unless your lymph nodes are swelling - are you talking lumps? If so that is an indication of infection.
You could have an auto-immune disorder like systemic lupus, that will make you feel exhausted, joints hurt, and bowels act differently as well as affect all of your systems. You could have an infection that your body can't throw off. You could have Lyme disease. You could have.... lots of things. You could be anemic, you could have cancer, you could be dehydrated (that would cause the bowel symptoms too) you could be low on Vitamin D or A. You could be stressed and not sleeping enough at normal times. You could be.... hundreds of things. Blood tests will tell you what it isn't, and that's a good start. Go see a doc.

That's true, but I'd try drinking a lot of water first to see if that helps and then I'd make an appt with the Dr. Another thought I had is this weird cold that's going around--just getting over it myself here and it knocked me down. I slept for 2 days straight and when my dd came over to see me I couldn't even wake up enough to sit up and talk to her--I laid there in the twilight zone. It's better now but that was the weirdest cold I ever had. OP didn't say how long this has been going on.

We could sit here and speculate all year. Here's where you can start...
1. call and make an appointment with doctor
2. if you drink a lot of caffeinated beverages, reduce it to 1 or 2 a day - too much caffeine can make you groggy
3. try to drink a small glass of water every hour
4. eat small, regular, well balanced meals - avoid refined foods (white bread, sugar, pasta, etc.) or processed foods (deli meats, instant meals) and increase fresh fruits and veggies like broccoli, spinach, avacado and pineapple
5. get a little bit of exercise every day, even if it's just walking around the block or doing house work
6. allow yourself around eight hours a night devoted to sleep
7. if all this fails to give you a little perk you can try supplementing vitamins such as D, B12, and Omega-3

Good luck!

Except for the armpit swelling, your symptoms sound a lot like the ones I had when I found out I had graves disease(hyperthyroid)....luckily mine was a transient case(yes, that's possible), but I definately agree with other posters that you may need to go to that dreaded doctor and get some blood tests......good luck to you, hope you figure it out.

So right SCGranny. A couple of years ago, I was dragging around like a dog with no hind legs. After a complete blood work up, found out I was deficient in Vitamin D. Took supplements every day and within three months, I felt more like my old self. Most people are deficient and don't even know it. Interestingly, research is showing the correlation between low Vitamin D and cancer. Too long to go into here but interesting info. Google it. Fascinating.

I hope the OP will see a doctor. It could be something simple but you'll never know unless you go. Besides, who would want to live with that constant wondering, "what if I have ... ?" Go to the doctor. JMO
