so i ate something funky, maybe it was food poisoning, i had stomach pain for a few days. the pain went away and then i had diarrhea, now i have constipation...it's been almost a week now. i just want to take a normal crap.

i've been drinking a ton of water, going to the gym and exercising like i normally do, but something is wrong with my stomach....

ugh...how can i let this all go? my grandfather is in the hospital with diabetes, and now i'm starting to freak out that this could be something more serious...

Over the counter overnight laxative should help move things along. Or pancakes/waffles, syrup therapy always helps my dog, not that you are a dog I'm just saying syrup can help move things along as well, grapes and raisins will do the same thing or prunes.

mmmm, oatmeal sounds really good I may fix a bowl for myself and a couple pieces of buttered toast. Thanks for the suggestion. Good luck with this I know how uncomfortable this issue can be.

Prunes are the best! TMI but if "it" gets stuck and can't come out, there are OTC glycerin suppositories to help grease the way.

Go to Walmart and get vegetable laxative. Take two pills with a full glass of water. If you need quick help take Ducolax. It will work within three hours, but be prepared for some stomach cramps.

Prune Juice, a gentle laxative plus a stool softener, apple juice, metamucill, and there are some herbal teas out there that help with constipation.

Also Haley's M.O., a lubricant laxative. So safe my vet had me giving it to my cats to pass hairballs.
