If someone online claimed to be an MD, I would not necessarily believe them. So many people lie about who they are online. Be careful.
Just what I was thinking. Everyone here is anonymous, and there are lots of genuine nut cases out there. It would be a false economy to attempt to get medical advice here, even from other posters who do not claim to be MD's. Sometimes it's interesting and instructive to hear what others have been through, what their experiences have been, but that's still not an adequate subsitute for medical advice received from an MD who has examined you and spoken to you in person.
