Will it give me an adverse effect? This is my 2nd dose on Provera, scheduled for Aug 11-20 (I have one more Sep 11-20). I want to take Biotin 10,000mcg for my hair, skin, & nails...should I just wait after I am done with the hormones?

I had to take Provera before to kickstart my periods. I still do, actually, every 3 months. I take Provera with my thyroid hormone and it doesn't seem to have any side effects. HOWEVER, I would call your pharmacist to ask. The pharmacist can look it up and tell you if there are adverse side effects while taking them together.

Has the Provera worked for you? Have your periods come back naturally?

Three months ago I did have a natural period, but none since. Since I have thyroid issues, I'm not sure if it will. But, I was also on psych medicines for a while and I know they can cause changes. However, I was taken off of those nine months ago, so I think mine is just thyroid. I hope once I lose more weight and my thyroid normalizes some more that I will start getting my period naturally again.
