Lately my right eye has been twitching. Not anything big that others would probably notice, but it's been quite often. I had this a couple of years ago too, but then it stopped.
What causes this?

I agree, I also read it was stress. Too much caffeine can do it for me also.

Can be stress, but I've also read that it's caused by low potassium. Eat a banana.

Very very, and I mean very common for stress/anxiety to cause this. I get it plenty when I stressed. Very common. If it continues for a long period of time see a doctor. But if it stops in a week or two don't worry about it.

Stress, caffeine, and not enough sleep. I have noticed mine has stopped all together, no caffeine for the last 2 months.

Starring at computer monitor or TV for a long time, not enough sleep, maybe emotional stress...

Stress always does it for me. I twitched my way through most of my undergrad thesis some 20 years ago.

Sleep, exercise and meditation seem like the best ideas to me.
