I agree about fish antibiotics. I've gotten fish amoxicillin before at the feed store for my cats. Googled the number on the side of the capsules and they're identical to what the doctor would prescribe.
OP, do the smart thing, accept no for an answer, and do your body, your wallet, and your doctor a favor.
Either this guy lied to his doctor or thinks it's like Burger King where you can get it your way.
Doing the right thing is unlikely to be in his repertoire.
Damn doctor won't give me a script, I pay a lot for insurance over 400.00 per month. It's not like he is prescribing me a narcotic, its only antibiotics.
High copays, high premiums and I can't get the treatment I need is hogwash.
Is there a sight I can purchase without a script
Damn doctor won't give you a script because you don't need a script.

The overuse of antibiotics is a global crisis. Your doctor says you don't need them. You're not a doctor. Don't get black market antibiotics- it is very dangerous.
Also, in adults, many infections are self-limiting and don't need antibiotics. For example, ear infections are often bacterial, but they go away on their own. Not all antibiotics work on the same organism. You could take amoxicillin that won't work on your infection, etc. Stop this quest.

This is true. I had arthroscopic orthopedic shoulder surgery three days ago and was very surprised that my orthopedist did not prescribe antibiotics to protect the three incisions he had created. But I didn't question it. I figured he knew what he was doing
After removing the Band-Aids yesterday, I discovered I had no need for them at all. The wounds were small and had no signs of infection. My doctor knows more than me in most cases, and when he prescribes or doesn't prescribe a medication, he has his reasons.
Certain infections "down below" have become highly resistant to many antibiotics, even the standard ones that have been used for years. If you are embarrassed to tell your doc what's going on, go to your local Planned Parenthood or similar clinic. Believe me, there is nothing you could tell them that they haven't heard many times before. For the good of your health, get checked-out by someone.
I think most people who buy fish antibiotics do a little research about the kind they need for a specific kind of infection.
I'll admit that I used then a few times when I didn't have health insurance. I still keep some on hand for UTI. But infections "down below" can be complicated and difficult to self diagnose, so it could be hard to be sure you were using the right med for the job.
