I fell into a metal shelf about a month ago. The bruising and black eye have since faded, but I'm left with a deep furrow on my forehead, about 3" long. It doesn't seem to have lessened at all, and it's very noticeable.

Is there anything I can use to"plump" it up? I'm not looking for a temporary fix, such as Botox, is there another option anyone can suggest?

You might try a dermatologist. I've had a few biopsies done that resulted in a lumpy scar. They injected the scar tissue with a small dose of cortisone and it softened the tissue so it could flatten out (permanently). I don't know if it is scar tissue creating the furrow but it is worth checking into.

You could also seek out a plastic surgeon who might do scar revision surgery or maybe a combo of the cortisone and a filler to stretch it back out.

You could also try a product like Mederma from the drugstore.
