Not too healthy but those small packs of ice cream with spoons attached, or ice cream bars. years ago I was in rehab, & one day the wife of another patient brought in a box of individual ice cream treats, & handed them out, we were all so delighted. If you don't want ice cream, how about those mini packs of raisins? Or some bags of dried fruits, like figs or apricots? Unsweetened.

I'd go with spanakopita (greek filo dough filled with spinach). Found in middle eastern stores. Take it home, bake, it, microwave it, cut it in pieces and offere to the guests.

Zuchini fritatta, also, deviled eggs (egg yolk, crushed pickle, mustard), veggie appetizer cake (olives and all kind of veggies), chicken on sticks, meat kebab, vegetarian kebab, vegetarian dolmas (stuffed grapeleaves), also in middle eastern stores. Even margerita pizza (fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce spread on a home made pizza dough with no butter). fish tacos. That's healthy.

These are all finger foods. You don't need any utensils to eat with. But that implies cooking. If you need recipes PM me.

PS. For dessert carrot cake. it's healthy and really good.
PSS. You could also do crepes (or blinis) filled with cheese, jelly or if you want... caviar. But that's going overboard. but hey, finger foods!

I was going to say cut up vegs with some individual cups of hummus.
Make it fun and interesting...somehow!

Also, some of those Capri drinks in the carton with the straws attached.

I appreciate your posts guys!

This is for my mom to bring to her Scrabble group at the community center, so she wants just a little something they can eat with one hand while playing the game.

I don't know what she ended up bringing. I just came back from doing errands and she's been gone too and I haven't talked to her again yet.

I'll definitely tell her your ideas for next time!

Well, I guess I'm too late to help you at this point, but I do have a wonderful and healthy snack recipe that requires no utensils and is "finger food" that you can use for another time. It's called Hidden Valley Ranch Pinwheel Sandwiches. Super easy to make and most people love it.

Take some of those large flour burritos that come in a package. Mix up an 8 oz. container of cream cheese with a package of dry Ranch dressing. Mix that together and spread it all over the flour burrito. Then you can sprinkle all sorts of things on top of that - chopped up or diced veggies or whatever you would like to have. I usually put diced carrots, diced black olives, diced pimentos, diced broccoli or any other veggie or chopped meat.

You then roll them up and slice them. Super easy to eat and you can put whatever you want on them. Here's a link to an actual recipe for them, but like I said, you can put whatever you want on them. And they are very easy to eat with just one hand.

Thank you for clarifying what these were for! I couldn't understand your requirements.

So, basically, bridge snacks. Something that can be put out on the table as finger food while you play a game and keep your hands relatively clean.

Finger sandwiches, nuts, yogurt covered fruit snacks, healthy veggie "chips" (like potato chips, but healthier), pimiento cheese spread on baguette slices, chicken salad spread on baguette slices, cheese cubes with a purple grape on a toothpick, skinny popcorn, peanut butter stuffed low salt pretzels, carob pretzels, yogurt pretzels.

What's the event? Where are the folks sitting....around tables? or in rows.
If they are sitting around tables, just have a bowl or two in the center of popcorn...pretzels, whatever you choose and napkins.

For ex, someone brought bananas one time, which is perfect. It's in its protective peel and easy to eat.

Any ideas would be appreciated!
2 hard boiled eggs and/or a banana.
