Well lets see, what cna i do to prepare? I should sell my house and spend all the money having a good time since we are all going to die. Anything else that I can do?
Whatevver I do the next big drama panic end of the world issue will kill me anyway so I guess I will just wait and see that nothing much happens. Remember how the melinnium was going to throw the entire world into chaos? Nothing happened. Remember the nuclear bomb drills (as if covering your head under a desk will protect you from a nuke). For a while everyone was going to die from Mad Cow disease.
Now we have bird flu and global warming. I wonder what the end of the world panci attack will be for next year? They should tell us in advance so we can get ready to panic properly.
We are due for another Flu Pandemic. Don't be surprised if the next one is even worse than the last one during World War One.
We had absolutely no health codes back in the day. Now days, people wash their hands when they handle food, or work touch other people for work. People wash their hand after "going". Now that working conditions are more lax, people can stay home from work when sick.
Besides that, one cause of the flu pandemic after WW I, was that soldiers were returning from a war in which they literally lived with rats and other undesireable critters for extended amounts of time. People returned in mass carrying these desieses.
Circumstances are just way too different for the same kind of epidemic to happen.
H5N1 is a virus between BIRDS. More people die per year from the common cold than this. The only people that catch this disease are people living in 3rd world countries and live in the filth with the birds. Sure 1 day it could possibly mutate into a virus amongst humans, but any virus has the possibility to do this. Right now i think this is totally over played and really poses no threat right now. I am not preparing for anything as nothing is going to happen.
