Has anyone gotten the new FLUAD adjuvented quadrivalent vaccine for seniors?

I'm seeing more availability for that vaccine than the FLUZONE quadrivalent for seniors.

Yes, Mr. Bay and I both had the FLUAD shot at Walgreens last week. I'm 71, and he's 80. My arm was sore for a few days afterward. He didn't experience any soreness at all.

Apparently the flu shot is covered under Medicare part D, And Express Scripts does not cover the flu shot.

I got my flu shot at CVS. I went in early, and was out of there w/in 15 minutes. Last year, I think I waited a bit longer. CVS is where I get my meds these days. I am not a huge fan, but I’ve gotten used to walking through Target to get to a pharmacy. If I go early, I can often avoid a line. But I have to say, they’ve made getting the flu shot easy.

Have never got the flu shot and never will. If you look at the ingredients you wouldn't want that crap in your food never mind your blood stream. I haven't been vaccinated since I was kid and refuse to. The fact they are pushing it on everyone is sketchy enough, nothing but tons of money for big pharm companies.

Agree although I tried to get the shingles vaccine since I did have shingles bad in my eye. I was allergic so no shot #2. I won't push my luck again because I don't know which poison I'm allergic to

Never normally ever get a flu shot...did a few days ago at CVS since my elderly mother got hers (the senior shot) and brother got his a few weeks ago. Very quick and smooth process...
