Opinion:

I have researched information and came across this
so called wonder drug out of Japan.

The FDA approved drug inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro studies.

A single dose can cause a reduction of the virus in cell cultures.

It is a drug approved for parasitic infections and a potential for re-purposing
because it is widely available and on the list of essential medicines.

I have not hear any mention of this drug on national television? Have you ?

Yet it boggles the mind that while Japan is setting new all time high Covid Numbers
they have been conducting 30 clinical trials since July 31,2020 using Favipiravir
( antiviral drug used for influenza ). What about Ivermectin?

Has any one else heard of this drug or ongoing studies?

I only know of clinical trials on adults with severe Covid 19

Unlike Remdesivir(really expensive drug , with little history, and questionable benefit) , Ivermectin didnt get the right people behind it since there was no money to be made. My confidence in the CDC/FDA is pretty much zero unless washing your hands resolves your problems.

Here is a list of doctors who are prescribing HCQ and Ivermectin.

Ivermectin studies

Quote:
Early treatment ↓86% - 34 ivermectin studies, 13 peer reviewed

All studies ↓81%

Yes, I've heard of ivermectin and its possible benefit to people with covid-19. Nearly everything I've heard or read about it is good, but as Rom623 said, there's no money to be made with it since it is readily available and cheap to produce.

I used to give it to my dogs for heartworm treatment/prevention. It's also an effective de-wormer and parasite remover in cattle. I would still be giving it to my dog(s) if I had one, but I have no pets now.

There are people in hospital beds right now who could be benefiting from it if certain agencies would kick it in gear.

Maybe I need to order some Ivermectin for my cyber dog "Rover".

It’s truly unconscionable that this treatment is being suppressed. People are dying unnecessarily along with our economy yet treatment is available.

Yeah - you can buy a gallon jug of ivermectin at the feed store for $40.
Its a dewormer for cattle and is already mass produced.

It's 'interesting' stuff, because you just 'pour' it on the cattle - don't have to inject it!

There are good reasons for drug studies and review and none of them are "suppression". You are the same people who would be complaining if vaccines were rolled out without proper study and review.
