Norwegian Medicines Agency links 13 deaths to vaccine side effects. Those who died were frail and old

Norwegian officials said 23 people had died in the country a short time after receiving their first dose of the vaccine. Of those deaths, 13 have so far been autopsied, with the results suggesting that common side effects may have contributed to severe reactions in frail, elderly people, according to the Norwegian Medicines Agency.
“For those with the most severe frailty, even relatively mild vaccine side effects can have serious consequences,”..... ......“For those who have a very short remaining life span anyway, the benefit of the vaccine may be marginal or irrelevant.”

Though both Covid-19 vaccines approved so far in Europe were tested in tens of thousands of people -- including volunteers in their late 80s and 90s -- the average trial participant was in his or her early 50s. The first people to be immunized in many places have been older than that as countries rush to inoculate nursing-home residents at high risk from the virus.

And which vaccine they're using. According to an article I'm seeing, it sounds like it was the Pfizer one because China is suspending it's use after the Norway deaths. According to the article below, it sounds like China also has their own vaccine so I don't understand why they'd even use the Pfizer vaccine.
I'll summarize some of the article because there's way too much to quote. Norway started vaccinations the end of December, starting with the oldest population (article says over 85) then residents of nursing homes.
Studies that formed the basis for the vaccines temporary approval included few people that were over 85, plus little is even known how side effects affect the age group. They're also saying Chinese experts suggest the deaths should be assessed to see if the deaths were caused by preexisting conditions and/or the vaccine.
A virologist from Wuhan thinks that if it's proven the deaths are caused by the vaccine and ones made with mRNA that they're not as good as expected. The virologist also said China is using more mature technology with their inactivated vaccines. A immunologist based in Beijing said that the world should suspend the use of the Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccine because the new technology hasn't been proven to prevent any infectious disease and hasn't proven safety in large scale use. He also feels that anyone over 80 should not get any vaccine and that they have weaker immune systems and are more prone to adverse effects.
Chinese health experts called on Norway and other countries to suspend the use of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines produced by companies such as Pfizer, especially among elderly people, due to the vaccines' safety uncertainties following the deaths of 23 elderly Norwegian people who received the vaccine.
The new mRNA vaccine was developed in haste and had never been used on a large scale for the prevention of infectious disease, and its safety had not been confirmed for large-scale use in humans, a Chinese immunologist said.
The death incidents in Norway also proved that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines' efficacy was not as good as expected, experts said.
All the deaths have occurred in frail, elderly patients in nursing homes. All are over 80 years old and some of them over 90, Norwegian media NRK reported.
Two COVID-19 vaccines, Comirnaty, from BioNTec/Pfizer, and Moderna, are used in Norway. The vaccines have been developed on mRNA technology and have received temporary approval in the EU, according to the agency.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I agree with the article that said that if a person is already very old, frail, and terminally ill, a vaccination is not worth it. You're not going to escape whatever is making you terminally ill by getting a Covid vaccine. More likely the side effects will just hasten the end.
A couple of days ago there was an obituary in our local paper which stated that the individual who had died had suffered from advanced Alzheimer's disease for years and was on hospice care (meaning that her life expectancy was at most a few months), but "Covid ended her life prematurely." Maybe Covid in this case was a blessing.

Perhaps so. And I don't doubt that similar situations existed for many of the Covid victims. However, it will still be listed as a Covid-19 death among the bean counters.
There's actually a nursing home in New York state which had a coronavirus outbreak and deaths around the time they started vaccinations. It's difficult to know whether the virus was brought in by CVS/Walgreens or an aide worker who tested positive. So far, they are claiming it was not the vaccine. It also wouldn't surprise me if the harsh side effects weakened the elderly patients' ability to fight off minor exposure.
Since one of the side effects of the vaccine is extreme fatigue, it stands to reason that an elderly person with heart failure or a similar condition is going to be at high risk by taking the vaccine.
Fever and nausea are common side effects from anything. They are not reasons for death.
