depends on the conditions of the bathroom and how clean they are. I am female if it's nasty and I really have to go then I will put paper towel or toilet paper on the seat before sitting. I have not encounter a real disgusting bathroom so far.
I sit since I have no choice (disabled), but I have clorox wipes that I use first (I also use a disposable glove) and wait for it to dry (it does quickly).
When I am finished and back in my chair I use another wipe for the next person. Since I have to use the handicap stall there are times when a child makes a mess that doesn't get cleaned up.
Thank you. I often hover then wipe with paper then a disinfectant wipe. It's cleaner when I leave than when I went in.
I don't use public restrooms. I have a small bathroom in my vehicle. So if the toilet is dirty, I've no one to blame but myself.
Being able to avoid the disgusting messes women sometimes make in public restrooms is priceless. Plus you never know if a contagious person was in there moments before you came in.
If you sprinkle,
while you tinkle,
please be neat
& wipe the seat.
Due to balance issues, I need to sit on the seat, but I always wipe it down first. I find it very rude of the hovering people to not wipe it after they use it. Or lift the seat.
I've only had the need to sit down on a public toilet maybe 4 or 5 times in my adult life. When I have done so, I just sat down. Mind you, all of those were in OK shape.
