In order to get a sub forum for the Physically Challenged CD policy is that there must be demonstrated interest in a sub forum for the less abled to discuss issues unique to them.

So here is that thread.......(Mods please make it a sticky for at least awhile)

I'll start.....
I've had both knees replaced which make it very difficult to walk but at least I can walk! Stairs are a real bummer as well as any sort of incline.

Being less able to walk makes it hard to exercise to keep my weight down to control my diabetes so it becomes a vicious circle that will, in time, shorten my life by several years.

Being Physically Challenged has presented me with many options to adapt to my situation which I ,crazy as it sounds, enjoy doing. I really like figuring out how to do this or do that to accommodate my condition to my needs.

Hmm. Maybe you could do some patent stuff, ya think?

Right now I am not going through needing any adaptations but with RA, I may have to as I get older or as the disease progresses.
