For a couple days , maybe 4 ish I had pain under my left armpit kinda extending out to almost the top of my breast.. Now starting today I'm feeling twinges of this ache in my right... Its not terrible pain, just like sore, or an ache. I dont' notice any difference if I move a certain way, lift things etc. I don't feel lumps in arm pits or breasts. I was having some odd stomach issues and sore throat and throat pain about 3 weeks ago up until last week. Could this just be from a virus.. I'm not one to ever get this kind of pain there. I've scheduled an apt for the doc but its just the waiting game till the apt and my nerves get to me. So anyone else have this prob or experienced it.. I feel like I've been falling apart for the past couple weeks! Thanks

I had something similar but there was a lump and my arm would go numb....I freaked out so I went to the doc....1st thing they asked if I had cat???? I said sure, it turned out I truly had "cat scatch fever." And here I thought it was just a song.

So seriously, do you have a cat?
Either way go to the doc and explain it just like you did here. Our imaginations are sometimes worse than what's wrong.

Keep us posted!!

nope no cat here, allergic really bad.. I WISH that was the prob lol. I thought it was the underwire on my bra cause the pain is sorta kinda where it comes to the top of the cup but the pain is in my armpit so that kinda ruled it out... and thats the truth about the imagination. The longer the doctors make you wait the worse you feel!

I know that feeling Tara. The only kind of pain I ever had in my underarm was when I was breast-feeding. There was something in a duct that actually made my left arm get that tingly pins and needles thingy. The pain might be caused by a cyst or swollen gland, could be from a cold...I am sure you will be fine . You gotta be, we have to be able to hang out when I move there....lol

I would go to the dr. I am not a dr, but I play one on tv. Ever have any swollen lymphs? Waiting for MM_mary to chime in.

Yes could be a clot, could also be an infected axillary (armpit) node or sweat gland. Point being - get this seen before it gets bigger/worse!
