Massacre is just that. Doesn't matter who was massacred and/or killed. I'm against it all. Rwanda? Clinton should have intervened. There is/was no justification for letting 800 thousand killed; except their race. If Rwanda was in Ireland, US troops would have been homesteaded in Armagh.

No race should be exterminated. And yes, like it or not, WE as American's and the last strong society in the world, should intervene in these issues. Take the bs side and do the minialmist? Nope. Wipe these countries out. KILL the ruling mass and get something more palatable in place.

Is that going to solve the problem? Maybe not. Maybe those we put into power are worse, etc. However, killing people to kill people, cannot be tolerated by a free society.

And when we do we pay the price as in Iraq or Somalia. We do better when we pay off countries to behave thenselves. What do we do. who knows?

George Washington said the US should trade with but otherwise stay out of Old World affairs.

As for Iraq... getting rid of Saddam freed the Iraqi Shiite majority which have strong ties to Iran.
Makes one wonder which side the US really supports [don't forget the gift Iran gave Reagan/Bush
on their inauguration.]

Such stories need to be brought out in the open because of the growing movement of Holocaust deniers, people who insist it never happened or it was a gross exaggeration even with the documentation, videos, photos, and eyewitness testimony.

Victors write history.

Nothing wrong with questioning that history.

Unfortunately, in some places one can go to jail for questioning the holocaust.

Like they say "Better to deal with the Devil you know (Saddam) vs the Devil you don't know (Iran)."

Why on earth would you question the Holocaust? I have been to Eastern Europe, Poland Auschwitz-Burkina, (Poland) and Baba Yar in Ukraine.

I've met people who have survived the Holocaust.

Why would any one deny a factual event? I think I know why, but it's frightening.

Then General Eisenhower predicted that in the future some people would attempt to deny the horror and enormity of these events and ordered Germans to tour the camps and that photographs be taken.

He was a German American as I am and had no sympathy for Nazis.

My point is... everyone should have the right to question the accepted version of history.
But, unfortunately, in some places people can be sent to prison for doing so.

When TPTB become that controlling [mandating certain thoughts/opinions] their demise is near.

There is something wrong in denying something so horrible took place inspire of the enormous amount of photo, video, official government documentation, and eye witness testimony in addition to the physical evidence of the slaughter that took place. To deny in the face of such evidence is to admit either you are insane or you sympathize with the Nazi extermination program. Which are you?

I am someone who believes that some actions should be controlled
but when TPTB begin to control thought and opinion, then the end
is near for that society regardless of which opinion is right or wrong.

If the evidence for the holocaust is so overwhelming... then why do
TPTB find it so necessary to severely repress dissenting opinions ?

They do so in the hopes of preventing history from repeating itself. Many deniers are actually racist who sympathize with the Nazi's plan and wish they had not stopped. Some are not only proud of what they did during WW2, some restarted the ethnic cleansing as recently as the 1990s in the former Yugoslavia. The people there weren't content with gassing or shooting their victims, they also had knives strapped to their wrist to make it easier to slash the prisoners' throats. Even the Nazis said they were vicious.
