Criminal. He robbed us of the chance to give Oswald a fair trial and get the whole mess out in public to (among other things) cool the jets of the conspiracy theorists.
Anything that could ever happen happens in some parallel universe/alternate reality
there are alternate realities where Jack Ruby never was arrested or put in jail/prison for killing LHO.In those realities, Ruby died a free man
In our reality, Jack Ruby is in heaven right now enjoying himself as he has been since 1967. And there is nothing the Dallas legal morons can do about it
ruby was a corrupt criminal who killed someone before they spilled the beans
there was more to this assassination than some looney commie wannabe...there was a conspiracy imo...
Did he kill Oswald because he deserved it or was it to cover up others in the "conspiracy"?
No conspiracy, you say? Then why was Oswald killed?
For the record, I'm not an advocate of any of the conspiracy theories, but if not for Ruby killing the accused, we'd likely know a lot more about the whole assassination than we do now.

Actually, what happened to Ruby isn't as unusual as you think it is.
When Charles Guiteau shot and killed President Garfield. He was not a popular guy. There was talk of lynching him at the scene of the crime. There were also two attempts made to kill him. During one of these attempts a soldier shot a gun into the wagon in which he was being transported.
When Leon Czolgolz shot and killed President McKinley, he was savagely beaten by a crowd of people while on his way to jail.
Presidential assassins are not popular people. The idea that someone would kill the President makes many feel a sense of revulsion.
If we view history what happened to Oswald doesn't seem unusual. Today, we are more security conscious than we were in 1963. Oswald would have been in a bullet proof vest surrounded by a circle of police officers. Back than people were much more careless about all kinds of things.
Finally, you should review the prior posts. The evidence goes like this:
1. Ruby always carried a gun because he was in the nightclub business and it was a rough business. This is the gun he shot Oswald with.
2. Ruby was across the street sending a telegram just before he shot Oswald.
3. Ruby had his dogs in the car with him when he went downtown. Sort of odd that a man planning a murder would bring his dogs and leave them in the car.
4. There is evidence that Ruby was very pro Kennedy and had been a staunch democrat and was quite angry at JFK's assassination.

5. On his death bed, Ruby claimed he acted alone.
None of that means anything, and it's a joke to think that Jack Ruby would
ruin his life just to kill a man who was going to be convicted of a Presidential
assassination anyway. He was told to do it and promised that he would get off
lightly. There was probably also a large payoff which would have been worth
whatever small time he would have served.
