Hard to imagine that Anne Frank might have still been living.

Or Peter van Pels (Anne's friend in the attic) who, two days ago, would have been 96.

Her autobiography is an interesting read, and is an insight into what Anne and Margot must have suffered at the end of their life.

I have heard, through various sources, that the "Diary" may be somewhat fictionalized. That being said, there was nothing fictional or overstated about the Holocaust.

Yeah. Years later the diary was re-examined. It was revealed that two additional pages had been pasted over. The hidden pages reportedly contained some dirty jokes and something about sex education whatever that means. They were not included in any revised edition of the diary.

Except that would not make the "Diary somewhat fictionalized". From my colleagues research about the external people and events mentioned in the diary, the people existed and the events happened.

I've never heard that - but the diary was slightly cleaned up to eliminate some of the sexual tangents at the time.
