Between mid to late 2009 and mid to late 2012, the U.S. will see the next Great Depression and the deflation of the “three bears,” bubbles in stocks, housing, and commodities. This occurrence will represent the de-leveraging of the greatest credit bubble in history and will have much greater effects than we have seen thus far on banking and financial systems. Americans will see the first and last “Great Depression” of most of our lifetimes. Most people simply are not prepared for this coming dramatic change in our economy. Aging Baby Boomers will see the worst of the economy in their retirement years, much as the Bob Hope generation saw the worst in their early years in the 1930s and in World War II on an 80-year generational cycle."
The first depression will be a mild recession compared to whats coming . In the first depression we were all united , in this next one we will all be divided ,not to speak of our leaders bringing in many enemys of our faith, culture ,nation and beliefs .
I see worse than a civil war , I see total chaos and many clans, religions and tribes clashing .
Even worse I don't see us winning . We will sit back until we are all slaves or dead ,imo from what I've seen and read .
Y'all are listening to Ravi Batra way, way, way too much. (Home Page of Dr. Ravi Batra) The guy has a book out called "The Great Depression of 1990." Look it up.
He was a friend of mine's macroeconomics professor, and espoused his doomsday-is-coming views every day in class. Meanwhile, my macroeconomics professor, an economist for the Federal Reserve, said that we would probably slip into recession but nothing more.
Wow! I'm not getting that warm, fuzzy feeling here. I think history is repeating itself, in that Bush is duplicating the antics of Louis XVI. He was out of touch with citizens, spent money the country didn't have, fought a war for personal revenge, and bankrupt the country.
I better stock up on ammo. Then I can have anything I can take.
Don't forget to stock up on duct tape. Oh wait that is for something else.
